Angle Tackling Drill Every Practice
I feel when you are coaching a very young team; the angle tackling drill should be run every practice. Earlier in the season, you will run it longer, but even late in the year, it is beneficial for the players.
As the players get older, and have more experience, you should still use the Angle Tackling Drill, but running the drill once, a week is OK. I should clarify; if the players are tackling correct then it is OK to run it weekly.
I believe that all flag football team should run the Angling Tackling Drill daily. It is harder to pull a flag, than it is to tackle a player. The Angle Tackling Drill will improve your players at taking the proper angle to slow runners down, and allow help to come.
