Below is today’s FREE horse selection(s). These plays have made a straight bet profit for over 15 years using the methods described in my Epic Exotics book.

Each day I will give one or two of the many plays one can make each and every day at racetracks around North America.

I will write about the 2nd race at Philadelphia Park which is a 7 furlong race for horses with a claiming price of $5,000. This race is for horses that have not won a race since 1-14-09. The 7 furlong distance is the trickiest since it is too long for a sprint but not quite long enough to be considered a route race. It is not unusual to see the early speed horses tire and get passed down the stretch.

I like the three horse Foolish Bird who is dropping in class more than 40% in purse value from the last race. He is the morning line favorite and I believe he will be the post time favorite as well. His numbers are great and he has the best last race speed number. He is in a much better position to run a good race today than he was in his past three races.

Josue Arce is the jockey with an overall winning percentage of 18% and he wins over 27% of his start from the 3 hole.
