I think many people are reading this post as our long-shot was bet way down. He was a 12-1 morning horse bet down to 5-2.
Wednesday’s FREE won and some typical exotics were cashed.. The exacta paid $27.00, superfecta paid $427.20 and the trifecta paid $110.20. The win price was $6.80, place $4.20 and $3.60 to show. I hit exotics like this daily using the methods described in my Epic Exotics book.
Below is today’s FREE horse selection(s). These plays have made a straight bet profit for over 15 years using the methods described in my Epic Exotics book.
Each day I will give one or two of the many plays one can make every day at racetracks around North America. I want to prove these methods work everywhere so I like to give random selections from different tracks to prove it out.
Thursday I will east to Monmouth for our free pick. This is a claiming race for $5,000 and carries a purse value of $14,000. This race is for Phillies and mares 3 years-old and upward that have not won three races. They also have not won a race since 1-30-2009. These are a bunch of losers and this race is filled with “junkers”. This is a 8 furlong race on the dirt course. This race offers Exacta, Superfecta and Trifecta wagering. We have seven horses starting.
There is one front-runner so the pace will be slow. Usually I will look to a horse that projects to be on or near the lead, but has something in the tank for the stretch run. Not for this race, since I see so many bad horses I will look more at the angles of this race. I see a large class drop with a surface change and top Jockey. In fact, he is the best jockey in this race by far. There are no significant trainer advantages in this race. I will step away from the traditional pace and make my key horse is #4 Irish Cove.

- 5 best stretch fraction times, but all were on turf
- Top three projected speed rating for this race
- Paco Lopez (jockey) wins 20% of his mounts
- He wins 21% of his 8 furlong dirt races
- He has won an amazing 30% of his last 123 races when leading at the ¼
- He wins over 21% of his races with this running style and position
