Sports Betting Free Picks 7-18-09
I’ve got the Fever, and the win. Last night the Indiana Fever gave us another winner so let’s try to keep it rolling.
I will start Saturday with a day baseball game. I like the Atlanta Braves versus the Mets. The game is on FOX and airs at 4:10pm EST. The Braves are trying to keep up with the Phillies so they will not be taking the lowly Mets lightly. Ah the pathetic Mets! It seems no matter how much money management throws into this group, the worse it gets.
The Braves are 23-21 at home and have won their last two games sporting a 6-4 record in their last ten games. The Mets are 17-27 on the road losing two in a row and have a 3-7 record in their last 10 games. We are getting a good price since the Mets have Santana going and as usual, I will bump the line up to +2 ½ -300. It will take three to beat us so let us see how it plays out.
Since I am feeling good let’s give out another free one. If you have been reading my stuff you know I like trends. I am a big believer that trends must be a part of your decision making. That said, I will look at the hottest team in the league which is the defending champion Phillies. They have won 9 of their last 10 games and are on a 7 game winning streak. The Phillies own a 6 game lead over the Marlins and Braves. The Phillies are road warriors with a 28-15 mark away from home.
The Marlins are not dog food, but they are not in the Phillies class. The Marlins are 25-23 at home, but have lost two in a row. The Marlins are sending Johnson to the mound ,
who is 8-2, and this gives us the price we need.
I will bump the line to +2 ½ -320 and hopefully watch the streak continue.
