Sports Betting Free Picks 7-22-09
I gave out three free winners again on Tuesday as the Phillies did it again, the Yankees took care of the Orioles and the Fever started a new streak. I am a believer in hot streak, so since I am on one, I will press the pedal to the floor!
For Wednesday, I might as well just copy and paste the review of the Phillies game.. As I stated Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday I will continue to ride the Phillies on this hot run. This series is against the over-rated, over-bet Cubs, who are sending that blowhard Zambrano to the mound. Vegas loves this guy and so do I since it will give me great value on the better team.
Philly are on a 10 game winning streak. Many gamblers think wrong and believe in the “due” theory, meaning they think the Phillies are due to lose. What hogwash! I will keep cashing tickets as long as they keep it rolling. Moyer is a stud who is 9-6 with a 5.58 ERA.
As I stated earlier Zambrano will start for Chicago and he is an over-rated pitcher with a decent 3.36 ERA and a 6-4 record. He is a wildcard and when the Phillies hit him early, look out, as this game will get out of control.
I again want to have the best chance at winning the bet so I will bump the line to +1 ½ -175 meaning we have to lose by two runs.
I want to keep it rolling so I will follow another of yesterday’s winner and also release the Yankees over the Orioles with the first pitch going off at 12:05EST.
Burnett is pitching and has a record of 8-4 with an ERA of 3.81. The Yankees have run 5 in a row and are 31-16 at home. The Orioles are just 15-31 and are a bad team.
Baltimore is sending Berken to the hill who comes in with a 6.44 ERA and a 1-7 record! It looks like we might have another football score in this one.
Keeping with my conservative style of play, I will play the Yankees +1 ½ runs -450.
Since I am on a roll, I will give out a third baseball game for FREE. I like the night game with a first pitch at 7:10 between the Angels and the Royals. I like a good team on the road versus a bad team at home. It helps give me a good price.
The Angels are really good and have won 4 in a row, going 8-2 in their last 10 games. They are 7 games over 500 on the road, and tonight send Saunders to the mound. This cagey veteran is 8-6 with a 4.72 ERA.
The Royals are the opposite of the Angels. They are 7 games under 500 at home, but are sending their stud Bannister to the Hill. He is only 6-7 but has a decent ERA of 3.66. The Royals have lost 8 in a row and are just 1-9 in their last 10 games.
My money will back the better team but only with a buy up in the run line to +1 ½ -245.
Since I have won the last few in the WNBA let’s keep it rolling! In looking over the schedule, I like the game between Connecticut and Sacramento.
The Sun has won 6 in a row, 7 of their last 10 and are 5-3 at home. The Monarchs are 1-8 on the road, are on a 5 game losing streak and have won only two games in their last 10.
The public will back the Sun after that big win over the Fever so I will stay safe and bet the money line at -400.
