Sports Betting Free Picks 7-30-09
It was bound to happen as I went 0-2 for the free picks on Wednesday.
For Thursday, I will move to the CFL and the Montreal versus Edmonton games played in Edmonton at 9:30pm EDT.
The Alouettes enter the game as the only undefeated team left in the CFL. This season started like no other with every underdog winning games outright. As the season settles down the teams are playing more to their ability. Montreal is 4-0 overall and the highest scoring team in the league with 154 points. As great as the offense is, their defense is even better allowing only 61 points in 4 games.
The Eskimos are 500 at 2-2 but their true ability is starting to show through. They are a very bad team scoring only 95 points and allowing 140! They are the 1 point off from being the worst defense in the league.
We have a great betting situation where the better team is on the road, giving us some great value. Montreal is -6 and the money-line is -270.
I will play this game on the money-line and not ask Montreal to do anything more than just win the game.
