Stock Market Commentary 8-3-2009
I am back from a 10-day trip to North Carolina for my son’s wedding.
This market is beyond reason. It keeps going up, grabbing money from the sidelines. The earnings are still weak, and we are dependant on China for help.
Most people I talked with are feeling poorer economic conditions, even met a couple people that experienced layoffs.
The car wash here has lowered there price from $5.00 to $3.00.
I am taking some profits this morning. We are on the high of the trading range, with the S&P hitting 1000; we have to be near a market peak. I can see 1042 as the next chart high.
I will study the numbers, and see how or where to play. In the meantime, take some money off the table.
